For clarification is was commenst on the mmeting minutes, documents submitted to MDE, and presentation.17:20

Are prinounts of the documents made available at our local library?17:20

given that are prinouts mailable?17:21

snail mail17:21

thank you17:22

Are the sampling plans submitted to the MDE for review made available for public/RAB member reviews before finalization?17:25

from Greg Morris to Everyone:

IM sorry can you go back a slide and look at the process schedule?17:33

Did it show we were less than 1/5 through the process and we are two years into formation of this RAB??"  17:34

from Michael Rooney to Everyone:

I have heard parts per million and parts per trillion for the readings. Which is it?

pls zoom in 17:36

very small 17:36

Why are there no refrence values in the table? 17:36

From Patrick Elder to Everyone:

You say you found three wells with PFAS. How can you argue that the PFAS cannot reach the lower aquifer? Doesn't MDE say  the clay layer may not be completely confining? 17:38

from Kevin Britt to Everyone:

MDE was given the opportunity to review the CIP and the Site 10 sampling plan. Can RAB members review future documents before they are finalized?  17:40

from Michael Rooney to Everyone:

Units are missing from table. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency issued Lifetime Health Advisories for PFOS and PFOA in drinking water of 70 parts per trillion. Please speak to data compared to that refrence point  17:41

Question for MDE, is that the highest PFOS concentraction measured in the state? 17:42

from David to Everyone:

Ive heard parts per million and parts per trillion for the readings. Which is it?17:43

from Larry Jaworski to Everyone:

has there been any testing done of the stormwater pond immediately to north of fire testing area17:43

from Patrick Elder to Everyone:

State of Wisconsin Dept. Env. say 2 ppt of PFAS is cause for alarm because of the propensity of these chemicals to accumulate in fish You have thousands of ppt in Ches Beach.  17:47

from David to Everyone:

Anything above 70 ppt is a healt risk per the EPA correct? 17:49

from Patrick Elder to Everyone:

7,950 ng/g = 7,950,000 ppt We are in trouble. Is there anywhere else on earth with higher levels?  17:49

From Michael Rooney to Everyone:

Not sure if you missed my comments. Units are missing from table. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency issued Lifetime Health Advisories for PFOS and PFOA in drinking water of 70 parts per trillion. Request presenter to speak to data compared to that reference point of 70 PPT. Please go back over all of the data tables.  17:49

from Cindy Peil to Everyone:

When will you test oyster/fish tissue and report findings.  17:53

from Greg Morris to Everyone:

Has the Navy or MDE performed any testing on local shellfish here in the bay in vicinity of subject facility? 17:57

from Cindy Peil to Everyone:

Doesn't the contaminated stream empty into the Bay?  18:01

from Patrick Elder to Everyone:

Your oyster study didn't go lower than ppb.18:02

You've known this stuff is poisonous for 50 years although all of this is coming across as if this is something new.  18:04

Oyster found off of Hog Point at Pax River above 1 million ppt. of PFAS

from Michael Rooney to Everyone:

Question for the town, Who sampled the drinking water sample? What was the EPA methodology? What was the detection limit? WHo completed the chain of custody? 18:07

Is the meeting moderator tracking the chat?  18:09

from Greg Morris to Everyone:

Michael - will look into that. Feel free to email me jadegrp@comcast.net 18:09

from Larry Jaworski to Everyone:

Town testing was done by an independent lab that followed EPA protocols 18:09

from Michael Rooney to Everyone:

Thanks Larry. Is that inofmration avaiable or do we need to foia it?  18:10

from Larry Jaworski to Everyone:

I will check if town can release info publically  18:12

from Michael Rooney to Everyone:

Thanks Larry.18:13

I need to drop off for another commitment. Thank you for the informative meeting. Look forward to receiving the requested information. Thanks Mike  18:18

from Patrick Elder to Everyone:

It only takes 1-2 ppt in surface water to begin the bioaccumulative process in fish that may result in fish containing orders of magnitude higher levels  18:18

There are great men like David Harris in communities like this across the country. 18:19

from David to Everyone:

I appologize if any of my talking points seemed like I was mad or attacking anyone. I am not. I am just freeking out a little bit having grown up my entire life by the base and now raising my family here on the farm. 18:27

from Larry Jaworski to Everyone:

EPA is currently updating its requirements for PFAS testing. Hopefully we will continue to follow EPA updates  18:31

from Greg Morris to Everyone:

Difficult discussion...18:32

from Cindy Peil to Everyone:

How does EPA advisory levels compare to levels set in other countries?  18:35

from David to Everyone:

What about contamination from animals to humans? For example deer. There is a high deer population around drinking from the streams with these excessive levels!  18:40

from Cindy Peil to Everyone:

Where on-line can we see the Water management program fish sampling mentioned by the last speaker?  18:44

Thank You. 18:45

from Patrick Elder to Everyone:

MDE oyster report was bogus. https://patelder.weebly.com/md-report-deceives-public.html  18:46

from Greg Morris to Everyone:

Thanks Kevin Britt!
