I’m in Kahalu’u, Hawaii now, getting ready to take off for Japan. I gave a presentation to many last night on how the Hawaii Department of Health reacts to the reports of dangerous levels of PFAS caused by multiple military installations. In short, they raise the regulatory limits of various compounds to be able to say to the Navy and the public that there are no exceedances. It’s how they operate. Everything is fine and dandy. Please see my power point presentation here.
